The introductory certification course.  The PADI Open Water certification will allow you to Learn to dive in Perth to 18m with a qualified buddy, without ongoing professional supervision (12m for Junior Open Water), in conditions better than, or similar to those in which you are trained.

The Learn to Dive Perth course consists of 3 days teaching :-

•  Home Study Academics with Multi Media

• First  day at the Pool

• Second day at the Pool & then 2 shore dives

• Third day of Open Water Diving at Rottnest off our Boat.

• For larger groups we have the option of a fourth day too!

The Learn to Dive Perth course includes:-

• PADI Five Star Gold Card Certification.

• The Go-Dive CD Multimedia Pack and Dive tables, yours to keep.

• A dive log book and training record, yours to keep.

• Free course boat trip to Rottnest for experience of both shore and boat diving conditions - lunch included!!

• All pool fees, air fills, gear rental, and certification costs covered by us - no hidden extras!!!

• Personal instruction in small groups.

• All high quality, fully serviced dive equipment (with personal diving computers).

• All transport to and from the training centre, shop, pool and dive sites provided.

• Club membership for the year (usually A$60), You get 10% off retail purchases during the course.

Availability:-

• Full time Learn to Dive courses run from 08:00 - 18:00 Tuesday - Friday every week.
• Part time Learn to Dive courses run over two consecutive weekends 08:00 - 18:00.  Courses start every second week (Contact the store for upcoming course dates).
• Other courses run once every month (Contact the store for upcoming course dates).
• Shift workers, and those with specific work rosters etc. please contact the store, we can always accommodate your shift patterns.
• Individual one-on-one courses are available, please contact the store for details.

Prerequisites:-

• Be 15 years of age (12 for Junior Open Water, limited to 12m maximum depth)
• Be able to swim 200m (any stroke, in any reasonable time), and tread water for 10 minutes
• Have a valid Australian Standard AS4005.1 Diving Medical  (contact the store or click on Diving Physicians) within the previous 12 months.
• Bring three passport photos (Contact the store for details of special photography service)
• Be ready to have the time of your life!!!!
