Dolphin Dive Fremantle Rescue Course Details

Learn techniques for appraising divers before they enter the water, for assisting with minor problems, for helping those in a panic, even those unconscious at the bottom!!! Learn techniques to provide artificial respiration in the water, to remove them from the water, and to apply full CPR if needed.

Learn accident management techniques, search for missing divers, first aid, emergency procedures, and have heaps of fun doing it!!!

The rescue course is a demanding course, often cited as the most enjoyable, satisfying course on offer.

The course typically consists of 2 days and an evening:-

Evening or half day going over theory and watching video etc.
2 days learning and putting new skills into practice.
Realistic emergency scenarios.

The course includes:-

PADI Five Star Gold Card Certification.
The Rescue Diver Manual and Accident Management Slate, yours to keep.
All air fills and certification costs covered by us - no hidden extras!!!
Personal instruction in small groups, (Max. 6).
All transport to and from the training centre, shop and dive sites provided.
Club membership for the year (usually A$60), 10% off retail purchases during the course.

You will need to provide or purchase the following:-

Dive knife (for cutting line, nets etc.)
Dive slate for communicating underwater.
Compass.
Whistle.
Alternate Air Source.
Bottom timer or computer.

Prerequisites:-

Be a certified PADI Advanced Open Water diver (or Junior Advanced Open Water), or similar qualification.
Be 15 years of age (12 for Junior Rescue Diver).
Hold a current Medic First Aid (or similar First Aid & CPR qualification).
Pass A Medical Questionairre (contact the store or click on Diving Physicians)
Bring two passport photos (Contact the store for details of special photography service)
Be ready to have some serious fun!!!!
